Settlement of Survivor’s Benefits Claim for $750,000

A worker fell from a parking garage during building construction. Unfortunately, he died as a result of his injuries. His 4 surviving children were entitled to survivor’s benefits until the age of 18 or the age 22 if they remained full time students. A settlement was agreed to in the amount of $750,000. Trusts were established to manage the funds on behalf of the minor children.
